Thursady 12th March

Well birds have been getting reading for breeding season for a few weeks now, having greens and soft food regually but so far only 1 cock singing his head off but im hoping the other cocks will hear him and sing along

The light hours are close to the maximum now so with 15 hours of light the exciting time is nearly among us

Monday 16th March

Well its been a productive few days since last update,

All cock birds are now with the hens so hoping to get some good bonding going on, Im hoping to put nest pans in with the hens prob Thurs 19th with some nesting matierial and hope the nest building takes place.

Wednesday 18th March

Got nest pans fitted and nesting material is also there for the birds to build nests!!!! HOPEFULLY

most are showing good signs so with fingers crossed all is going well

Sunday 22nd March

Well nest building is taking place but only 1 cock singing his head off but time will tell, im hoping to have a breeding season like last year where i bred 14 birds, kept some back but most went to new owners,

wednesday 25th March

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!

We have a egg, the one pair built a great nest and this morn we found the 1st egg of season laid, so heres hoping that the cock has managed to fill it and we may be in luck

Thursday 26th March

second egg lad today,dummy eggs have been switched over and turning the eggs daily so hopfully all will be good

Friday 27th March

Well the 3rd egg has arrived so with luck all the eggs can be returned to the nest saturday morning, getting very very excited now
